Ryan Merchant (pictured, left) and Spencer Ludwig (pictured, right) of Capital Cities have teamed up with RAC to create a new project titled History, which also happens to be the name of their first track.
History brings in all the elements fans love from Capital Cities as well as the immaculate pop production values heard in RAC’s solo efforts. Merchant and Ludwig lay vocals alongside jagged synth lines, and about midway through Ludwig’s iconic trumpet-work sneaks in to round out this stunning track.
There is no further word as to the artists’ intentions past this initial track, but you can download a free copy of History here.
